Before joining Federation Stories, Sarah worked as Head of Development for BAFTA-winning producer Kwadjo Dajan’s Sugar Films, which was backed by Sky Studios. There, she oversaw developments for channels including Sky, BBC, Channel 4, ABC Studios and Disney+, including their forthcoming ‘Suspect: The Shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes’. Sarah started her career in film production as a teenager in Liverpool, before moving to indie film company Natural Nylon as a Junior Development Executive, script editing their series ROCKFACE for BBC. She then moved on to Simon Fuller’s 19 Entertainment, working in brand and artist management, before returning to drama under Mal Young. She has also worked as a freelance development exec/producer for companies including Runaway Fridge, LA Entertainment, Weiland Film, Shed Media, Warner Brothers, CinemaNX and the BFI.
